We submitted a policy priorities letter (with 65 organizations signed on) to the Metro Board in response to their call for feedback on what objectives the potential 2016 ballot measure and Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP) update should aim to achieve.
We testified before the Metro Board about why it’s important for transportation infrastructure investments that aim to:
– Reduce emissions
– Enhance equity & public health
– Integrate natural assets into first/last mile strategy
– Incorporate green infrastructure
